Journey Towards Self-Discovery
Hi! I am the owner and founder of B.Y.C. I created this company to help people on their journey towards self-discovery using the chakra system (holistic approach). Initially my journey started off as a way to deal with my own mental health issues. Amazingly, B.Y.C was born as a result of using this system. I believe everything is intertwined. Our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of ourselves determines the person we are now. My goal is to help people uncover their true identity. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Take a look around. I'll continue to provide as much information as possible, so you have another option to healing. I want people to know that having a holistic approach to life has enormous benefits. So, take a ride with me. You may finally start to feel the vibration of your own echo!
When you first hear about chakras, you may get confused. I understand, it's something different. In simple explanation, they are energies in our bodies that react off of internal and external stimuli that causes reactions in our bodies. We all have them. There are 7 main chakras in our bodies. However, there are 114 in total. There is more focused on the 7 main ones as they are the most important. The 7 main ones are root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye, and crown. As you follow me on this journey, I will be discussing each one and my experience with each one. I will post a link that will give you a brief summary to help you understand a little better. Don't be afraid to ask questions. This is a journey and the more we ask, the more we will understand who we are and our purpose in this world. Don't be afraid to explore your own chakras as they are key into unleashing your true self. Remember, everything that happens in the Universe is happening in us. Everything is connected. Thank you for taking this ride with me!
The article is just a brief introduction. The information about the chakras is plentiful. Be prepared to receive. Be opened to learn. Pace yourself. Take your time. Most importantly, don't get too overwhelmed. It's a journey!

1 in 5 people suffer from mental illness each year. There is no cure, however there are ways to combat it to make like more fulfilling. What does mental health look like anyway; as in regard to illness or our own "regular" mental health? How does mental health affect our journey? There are so many questions and answers, but they will vary from person to person. How we think affects us while we are awake and as well as while we are asleep. Our thought process controls how we navigate each day. When you're frustrated for example, everything you do after will add to your frustration causing you to lose some control. Most of us don't realize the way we think has been shaped for us since childhood. Our environment plays a role in how we view life. Also, genetics play a role in this behavior. To be balanced mentally, you must be able to have conversations with yourself. I like to believe that the more we connect with ourselves mentally we are able to control the direction of our lives. I know dealing with mental health issues can cause bumps in the road. I, myself suffer from mental issues as well. What I have found is that acceptance is key to begin change. No matter where you are in life, there is always another solution. There is help if and when you need it. I know many people are afraid to get help for fear of judgment, but the only way to get better is to do something to change. Even if you're considered the "norm", you can still struggle with your mental health. I challenge you to do an overview of yourself on a daily basis. See how you interact with yourself and others. Are you living a life that is challenging you? Are you doing what you want? Is life giving you what you need? Most of the answers we seek are within ourselves but we're afraid that if we choose ourselves first, we are being selfish. The goal in life is to live life unapologetically and that doesn't mean you don't care about others. It simply means that you matter. To get where you want to go you have to be willing to fix and adjust. It's difficult to change a pattern of thoughts you have been accustomed to, but if what you're doing is not working, it may be time to become "Your amazing self". The barriers in our lives are the ones we hide behind. If you're in need, always feel free to reach out.
Don't let life pass you by because of fear. you deserve everything.
I will post the Suicide hotline link below in case you ever need someone to talk to. Never give up on yourself, you matter. There is a light in you that the world needs to help see.

I'm going to try my best to do this section quickly in two parts. How we treat our body affects every area in our life. What we eat and how we move our bodies will affect every aspect of our lives. The foods we eat, for example, affect how we think, and how we feel. There are certain ingredients in some foods that causes illnesses such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol, etc. Also, too much dye in foods can cause mental health issues. It has been said that children who consume large quantities of dyes develop mental health illness early on. I know it's difficult to change our eating habits. I, myself, have been struggling for years, but recently I have a grasp on how I view food. The key is to look at food as nourishment. Yes, we can still treat ourselves to those foods that bring us happiness, but overall we should consume things that will keep us energized. There are foods that give us more mental clarity, such as salmon. Foods that boost our immune system such as pineapple. The best thing you can do for your body is to keep it strong. Having a good relationship with food can help you fight illnesses. Always start small. Do something that can benefit you. Take it day by day. The more we introduce to our body's good quality food, the more we will get adjusted to it. Also, don't be afraid to experiment. Use different seasonings. Just because you're eating healthy doesn't make it boring. Every version of the "bad" choices has a healthier version. You can do it; you just have to decide that you want to be the healthiest you possible. Are there going to be days when you slip up? Yes, lol. That's life. We're going to have parties, vacations, b b que's, etc. The key is to find balance in everything you do. Now to the physical part of your body. We can eat healthy, but we also need to add physical activity to our bodies. Yes, I know it's hard. It's a struggle for me every morning to workout, lol. So, I can relate to you. Our bodies need exercise. It helps our muscles stay strong. Exercise release endorphins that make us happy. It keeps us more motivated. It makes us feel empowered. Like others, we create the body we want. Just like anything, it takes a commitment. The more we move our bodies, the healthier we become. Consistency is key. There are many different exercises so you can move your body however you want, but just do it. I know if you physically can't, then don't harm yourself. However, if you can for yourself, move a little each day. They recommend at least 30 minutes, 5 times a week. It seems like a lot, but if you start small you can always add more. Create a routine you can stick to that way you are more likely to keep it as a habit. Change doesn't happen overnight. Remember, being consistent with any habit will, over time, become automatic. It will become part of your life. We only have one life and one body, so let's give it our best efforts. Be kind to yourself. Love yourself. We are what we eat. We are what we do. Become the best you every day. Remember, one small step everyday will eventually lead you to your destination.
Spirituality comes in many forms. Some people believe in order to be spiritual you must be religious. While others believe spirituality is a deeper connection with yourself and the Universe. Spirituality comes in many forms. Some people believe in order to be spiritual you must be religious. While others believe spirituality is a deeper connection with yourself and the Universe. I say, whatever you believe, always trust yourself. I also believe spirituality is very important to finding your true self. It challenges you to go deeper than the surface. It forces you to face yourself. Many of us are not who we are truly meant to be because we are not willing to do the work in order to become Him/Her. This is why I love the prcoess of how the chakras work. When we are not aligned with who we are, our bodies are going to show us. This may be through mental illness, unexplained bloating, bursts of frying, etc. There is more than what we see. We are not just phsyical beings, but very much spiritual. Take for example, you go into a room, and you can automatically feel when the "vibe" is off. You're connecting with your spiritual self. Or let's say for instance, you may have a strange feeling about going somewhere and later learned something happen. You're trusting yourself. Most things we do in life, how we think, feel, and behave can be tied into our spiritual world as well. The voice in our head. Is it God. Is it ourselves? Is it our ancestors? There are no right or wrong answers here. It is what you believe. Our spirituality becomes whatever we make it to be. It is the driving part of discovering who we are on a more intimate level. When we learn ourselves only then we can truly live our life to its' full capacity. One way I encourage you is to try meditation if you haven't already. Meditation allows your mind to be free. It helps you listen to that inner voice. It causes you to be connected to a higher source. There is a power source. We are power. We are connected to power. There is no way of escaping spirituality. We are it. For me, meditation has a allowed me to become okay with who I am. It also has taught me more about myself than I have ever known. It allowed me to listen. YouTube is a great starter guide to introduce you to meditation if you're interested. It can seem strange at first, but over time it will become your place of peace. I encourage you to find a deeper meaning for your life. The more you know yourself, the more you can see, the more you become. There is no correct way to be spiritual, we were already since before we were born. Spirituality has everything to do with you. The only thing you have to do is to accept that you are in fact more than what you believe and see right now. Spirituality will help you see your light and not be afraid to let it shine. Become Your "C' everyday!
You are everything.
